The Saint Laurent Girl AW15

Today I thought I would talk about an AW15 show that I absolutely loved: Saint Laurent. This season there was a really clear Saint Laurent girl who strutted down the runway and I loved her attitude and effortless style.

This season Hedi Slimane worked wonders, creating a rock chick, punk grunge collection with beautifully cut and crafted pieces. The key themes to the show were leather, tulle, fishnets, black and contrasting delicacy with heavy grunge. Here are my favourite looks from the show.
To recreate this look you will need certain key pieces:
Black fishnet tights (the more ripped the better)
Black moto leather jacket
Black bralette top
Net/tulle flared mini skirt in pastel pink or black
Sheer shirt
Leather skirt
Something in leopard print
Thigh high split mini dress
Chunky black pointed boots
With these key pieces you can recreate very similar outfits for a fraction of the price. But if you want to wear this look, you need to first make it age appropriate, if your a teen go for slightly more practical lengths , smaller splits and flat shoes. You can wear this trend for any occasion and dress it up or down. But most importantly you need to have confidence to pull off this look, if you like it go for it, but you need the thick skinned tough girl attitude to go with it!
